About 8140.study
8140.study is a training platform for people who need to pass Security+, CISSP, CySA+, CCNA, or whichever certification their contract requires. Courses are generated from the vendors' published exam blueprints, and the reference side — which certifications satisfy which requirement, the 8570 baseline — is built provenance-first: every requirement carries a link to its source and the date we checked it.
What it is
Written courses, knowledge checks, scenario labs, and practice exams toward certifications the 8140 qualification matrix accepts — Security+, CISSP, and the rest. Because the courses derive from each vendor's published blueprint, a reweighted exam changes the course rather than quietly dating it. Alongside the courseware sits a free reference catalog of DoD 8140 and legacy 8570 qualification data, readable without an account.
The accuracy discipline
Every requirement in the catalog carries a source and a date. Where a vendor doesn't publish a figure, we don't supply one. When a claim can't be verified against a source, it gets removed — not smoothed over, not hedged into vagueness. Where our sourcing stops, the product says so on the page, including which canonical documents sit behind logins we could not read.
Who built it
8140.study was built by INflow Federal, a government IT services contractor based in Ashburn, Virginia. We built it because we live with these requirements — INflow's own engineers have to qualify under 8140, and the ways to get there were a $3,000 bootcamp seat for a single certification or piecing it together from scattered material. So we built the courses and practice exams we wanted, and put the qualification reference we had to assemble anyway in front of them, free. INflow is 8140.study's first customer.
What we are not
8140.study is an independent training product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official system of the U.S. Department of Defense. We are also not affiliated with the certification vendors — CompTIA, ISC2, ISACA, EC-Council, GIAC, Cisco, CertNexus — whose exams we prepare you for; their names are their trademarks. Records on this platform are training records, not official DoD records, and qualification determinations belong to your component.
